In addition, this reform improved administrative management by replacing the RSI, which made the procedures more transparent and more efficient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">If you are a micro-entrepreneur, your contact is therefore the\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">Primary Health Insurance Fund for your<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0place of residence, as for employees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span dir=\"auto\">Reimbursement of medical expenses\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Self-employed workers, including self-employed entrepreneurs, benefit from\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">the same coverage<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0as employees for their health costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">There is therefore no difference in reimbursement rates for your consultations, medications, care, or even hospitalizations.<\/span><button class=\"jump-out\"><\/button><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">However, a micro-entrepreneur wishing to subscribe to supplementary health insurance must cover all costs related to their mutual insurance.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span dir=\"auto\">Daily compensation in the event of illness or accident\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Whether you are a trader, craftsman, regulated, or unregulated professional, you can benefit from <\/span><span dir=\"auto\">daily compensation<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0in the event of illness or accident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">However, you must meet several conditions to be entitled to daily compensation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Be registered with a compulsory social security scheme <\/span><span dir=\"auto\">for at least one year\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0(12 continuous months of affiliation)\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">on the first day of the cessation. <\/span><span dir=\"auto\">If you were subject to another scheme during a previous professional activity, the period of affiliation can be counted if there was no interruption between your two activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Be working at the time of work stoppage or benefit from continued entitlement, on the date of a medical certificate of incapacity for work.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Be up to date with the payment of your social security contributions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Have an annual income greater than\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"discussion-id-22a9cfd6-6c69-8038-aec9-001cc9b67cee\"><span dir=\"auto\">\u20ac4,383.20<\/span><\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0after deduction.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The daily allowance is equal to\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">1\/730th of your average annual income<\/span><span dir=\"auto\"> . This is calculated on the average of your income over the 3 calendar years preceding the date of your work stoppage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Above \u20ac47,000,forr an annual income, you receive the maximum daily sickness benefits. In 2025, the maximum amount of daily sickness benefits for self-employed workers is:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">\u20ac64.52<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0per day if you are affiliated with the general pension scheme<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">\u20ac190.55<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0per day if you carry out a liberal activity affiliated with Cipav<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Have you just started\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">your business<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0and haven&#8217;t yet reached this minimum annual income? If you had entitlements from your previous job, it is now possible to receive daily allowances for this purpose. For more details, contact your CPAM (Health Insurance Fund)!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Furthermore, do not confuse\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">annual income with turnover!<\/span><span dir=\"auto\"> In fact, to determine your entitlement to daily allowances,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">a flat-rate tax deduction<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0will be applied to your turnover:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">71% for commercial activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">50% for craft and commercial services<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">34% for liberal activities\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The result obtained will correspond to\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">your self-employed income<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Finally, a\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">waiting period<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0is applied between the effective start of your work stoppage and the payment of daily allowances. This is\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">3 days<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0for a stoppage of more than\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">7 days<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0or in the event of hospitalization.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span dir=\"auto\">Maternity leave<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The maximum duration of\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">maternity leave<\/span><span dir=\"auto\"> for self-employed women is generally 6 weeks before the expected date of delivery and 10 weeks after it, i.e.,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">112 days in total,<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0as for employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Women who run a self-employed business can benefit from maternity benefits\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">under two conditions<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Be up to date with their compulsory health and maternity insurance contributions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Provide proof of six months of affiliation for a non-salaried activity (or other activity or unemployment, as long as there has been no interruption between these affiliations)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">However, the length of your maternity leave varies depending on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">the number of children you are expecting;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">the number of children you have already had<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">You can choose to take maternity leave that is shorter than the maximum legal duration presented to you, but to receive your daily allowances, you must cease your professional activity for at least 8 weeks, including 6 after the birth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">There are two types of allowance, which can also be combined under certain conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">flat-rate maternity leave allowance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">flat-rate daily allowance for interruption of activity<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Their amount depends on the income of the\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">last three calendar years<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0preceding the date of payment of the benefits.
